REPOST: I need some advice, I just moved to Cali last week from Ohio, do I need a smog check to renew and change my license? I read somewhere that if your car is less than 4 years old, you're exempt from a smog check, please advise. Thanks.

Wrong spot to post this, but when you officially register the car to California, YES. Smog test is good for a couple of years.
