Might be a dumb question, but if they lay the film on the inside, doesn't it ruin the defroster and am/fm antenna if you remove it later on?codex57 said:Not bad. I see what he says about the dot matrix, but it's better than the great majority of installers it seems. Just wait a week and then try and press out the bubbles yourself. You may need a plastic scraper (cover it with something soft) to get in to the crack at the bottom of the rear window.
they asked me beforehand if i listened to am radio, they said i wont be able to listen to am with this kind of film.. no biggie for me. i dunno for sure about the defroster, but the place i went to does tinting for bmw of austin so i surely trust them.Boogers said:Might be a dumb question, but if they lay the film on the inside, doesn't it ruin the defroster and am/fm antenna if you remove it later on?
Most people don't remove tint. If you do remove it, it only ruins the defroster and antenna if, during the removal process, you accidentally cut one of the wires printed onto the glass. If you do it very carefully though, it's possible to remove the tint without harming anything.Boogers said:Might be a dumb question, but if they lay the film on the inside, doesn't it ruin the defroster and am/fm antenna if you remove it later on?
they leave the door open and flip one of the mechanism switch on the door. they tint it all the way down into the rubber thingidoc330ci said:Very sick.
Hey...how did they handle the issue of the window moving when the door opens and closes? Did they remove the fuse?
