I hit a pothole last year and bended the rim and I didn't realize the tire was damaged too. It is a 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Alpin with only 3000 miles on it. I want to know if the tire is repairable?

I'd say no. Anything on or near the sidewall is unrepairable and a reputable tire shop won't even attempt to repair sidewall tears.

well, not that its unrepairable, just nobody wants to do it because theres a high risk of a blow out after and nobody wants to be liable for that
