:hi: I have the opportunity to purchase a homelink that lights up but the seller does not know if it supports rolling codes, is there a way to know if it does?

If it was a red LED is doesn't support rolling codes.
The ones with a green or amber LED do.

And FYI, the typical programming instructions don't work for rolling code. Instead of just pressing and holding the Homelink button and then pressing and holding the remote's button, you press and hold the Homelink button while on the remote you press and hold, then release and press and hold again in roughly a one second cycle to teach the Homelink the rolling algorithm.
