I keep getting a code for a specific O2 sensor: p0036

I'm curious if there's a fuse for each O2 sensor and which one is for that O2 sensor. I'd like to replace it first before I assume the O2 sensor is bad and change it again.

Thanks.

I don't think there is a fuse per sensor.

P0036 is a bank 1 postcat heater. Sounds like your sensor crapped out. Are your cats really old? What sometimes happens is the honeycomb in the cat disintegrates with age and travels downstream and messes with the sensor.

You can try taking out the sensor, cleaning it if there is anything lodged in it, and then putting it back in with a defouler (basically an extension). I'm not sure this will work because once the heater goes, it goes.

I was afraid it was the heater. It's a bad O2 sensor. I just put it in. Guess I'll get a new one instead of a used one. It was worth a shot, I guess.
