I have 2002 E46 325i stept. :)

I just heard it from one of my buddy that removal of the resonator will make sound deeper and louder and it pretty makes me interested. Also heard that it is cheap to remove. :)

Before making sure of it,

1. Can you do it on stock exhaust too??

2. If so, then which resonator should i remove to make the best sound?

3. How does the sound like in stock exhaust? Has anyone done it?I just want the sound like to be low deeped tone... (..like stock 330)

4. Does it void the factory warranty? or any problems to the car? (like check engine light on OR loss of performance, etc..)

Any advices be thankful..!!:)

Answers (some one correct me if I'm wrong)

1) yes you can do it to a stock system - why wouldnt you be able to
2) you would revome the one closest to the back .. the one closest to the front has to do with removing harmful stuff from the air - and you might not pass emissions
3) It makes it sound louder than stock exhaust - but not ricy - lots of people here have done it
4) to my knowledge it does not void the warranty or make the check engine light come on
