My friend has a leaking turbo oil return pipe in his Volvo. It's not the stock turbo and the original pipe won't fit. The current one is a bent stock pipe that kinda fits but it's not perfect, still leaking at the block end.
Fabricating a new pipe isn't worth it.
I was wondering if it is possible and applicable to squirt some high temp silicone around the block end of the pipe to create a somewhat better seal, and if so what is the best material to use ?

while i would say its not your best bet, you need to see how hot the silicone is good up until... i wouldn't be too surprised if the pipe far exceeds that temp

well, there are various so called "Gasket Makers" on Amazon, it says it's good for engines etc. Is that what I should be looking for ?

Older B230 engines use a rubber O-ring to seal the turbo drain on the block so i guess you could atleast try some copper based RTV.
