well I found the Space saving spare

but no bmw dealer carry the tire, even though they got the part number

it's a T125/80 R17 tire..
continental 99M CST.

I found no place that sells it
so I started looking at motorcycle tires

they get something very close

would it be okay guys?
I mean I have no idea..but it should be the same??
or do those tire carry less weight in them

I missed out on part of the conversation... You have a space saving rim but no tire? And now you want a tire for it? My guess would be that the best place to find a tire (and another rim, unfortunately) would be a salvage yard... Fill me in if I am missing out on your intentions... As for using a motorcycle tire, my guess would be no... Car weighs a lot more than a cycle... probably would not hold up to well...

but no dealer could order the tire, but yes they can get the rim.

There is NO WAY IN HELL you can use a motorcycle tire for your spare, if you ever need to use it you will cause damage to your car!

motorcycle tires will not withstand the weight of a car!

I also find it extremely odd that you have a donut spare, my 328 came with a full size spare!:dunno:
