Heard Bear mtn is closed. True? Is it due to the hurricane?

It's possible. I know they closed Garrett Mountain by me for several days so they could clean up all the debris. I imagine bear mountain did the same. Here's the number (845) 786-2701, you can always call them if you need to know for sure.
