iPod Integration HELP!

So I've been searching these forums for the past week on how to integrate my iPod into my car stereo...and I still don't know what to do. I have a 2000 328ci with 16:9 widescreen HU w/ cassette. I know that my HU Doesn't support the AUX cable from BMW so this leaves me with either GROM or DICE right? I really don't need the text display and I don't want to spend a lot of money; all I want is to be able to run a cord up through the ashtray and plug my iPod into it and Voila! high-quality sound. What are my options? Thanks.

I you have OEM Nav, this is the way to go:

If all you want is an Aux input as you said "all I want is to be able to run a cord up through the ashtray and plug my iPod into it and Voila! high-quality sound"...then just get an aux adaptor from Blitzsafe (around 90 bucks) or GROM (around 60 bucks). They plug into the cd changer pre-wire in the trunk and then run your 3.5mm audio cable to wherever you want it. Control will all be done on the iPod itself. Done.

If you want to control the ipod from the stereo car controls then you need one of the various ipod adaptor units like sna77 mentioned.
