Hi there, just wondering if there are replacements out there for the insert around the gear stick.

As you can see from the pic, bit of the paint has flaked off.

Are they a walk in wreckers or you only can ask for parts?

Yea you can walk in, or search online on their website, I usually call them up and ask to see if they have parts in, if not they source it and get it in a few days.

Sorry I mean, can you walk in with your own toolbox and start taking things off cars? Like Deer Park Wreckers or Pick A Part?

lol my bad, I'm not to sure, I think they do it for you when you ask for which part your after if it hasn't been stripped. From what Ive seen there, they have whole trim kits, engines etc etc all pulled apart, tested and ready to go.

Wouldn't recommend them. They are quite shonky from personal experience.

Yeah I stick away from them as well unless I'm absolutely desperate, they're the most expensive BMW wreckers in Sydney.
Some parts I even got quoted the same as new from the dealer. But on the upside, they do have alot of stock.
And no you can't walk in and get the parts yourself, you tell them what you want and they go and get it while you wait or they ring you when its ready.
