I've tried to install a pair of white reflectors on the front bumper of my M but both cracked at the tips...trashed them. I've just receive another pair, although these are body colored (bimmerfreak.com)....and am curious to know how u guys that installed them did it.

the white ones are really hard to install for some reason...they dont fit, at least didnt fit my car...the bodyones are good...wrap a screw driver in a soft cloth and pry from the right side...should come out good! i think bimmian.com has a tutorial.

Yea, bimmerfreak ones are very easy to install. Took me 5 minutes.

Put mine in with a little trouble, but the little buggers are very sensitive to the burrs from the origial casting and often need to be lightly filed/sanded/dremmeled (sp) Check the edges very carefully and remove any excess material from the edge. a half a mm is a lot in a tight fit piece. Also I used a bit of liquid car wsh soap to assist in the fit. Have done several since with the same good results on friends cars. Bimmian parts clear or painted are ok.

:werd: The painted ones are easier because they are OEM. The clear ones are aftermarket and never fit properly.
