Ok, the weather is finally nice and it's time to make the ride look really good for this spring. I'm trying to gather some info on car products I'm gonna need for detailing my car.

Exterior:
I'm gonna buy Zaino, an obvious choice.

Interior:
I have leather conditioner and armor all.

The question: What else can I use to clean the interior of my car? Specifically, what kind of carpet shampoo can I use to clean all the dirt that has accumulated over the winter months?

Any other suggestions for good products would be great appreciated.

get new mats. use rubber mats next winter. lexol works great on the interior so does vinylex

Thanks for the info on lexol and vinylex. What I'm really trying to find is a good carpet shampoo. My X5 took a lot of wear and tear this winter and I'm trying to get the carpets clean (Yes I had rubber mats). I know that when you pay a professional to detail a car, they shampoo the interior carpet, I'm trying to find out what product they are using.

Lexol is the only way to go


and yes... GET RUBBER FLOOR MATS. Those have saved my carpet innumerous amounts of times
