Hi There. I'm Benny and after much deliberation, I've finally figured out what I.C.E. to install on my '03 Orient 330Ci:

Profile Clarus CL1200 Amp
Kicker Solo-Baric 02HS12L7 12" enclosed sub
Alpine NVE-N852A nav system
and the crowning masterpiece:
Alpine IVA-D900 Monitor/DVD/CD

I have high hopes for my little Bimmer, and I think this might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. (Just got her last month) As far as Project Pimp Out is concerned, the 4 items listed above are merely the beginning of a long journey.

Additional Planned Mods:
Blue Interior Lighting
Blue Gauges
White Out Turn Signals
Dynamat...duh.
Twin Dual Exhaust
Rims
MVR Body Kit
then drop in a Manual Transmission
and finally, a Supercharger

If any of you guys can give me some really good installation guides for ANY of this stuff, it would be greatly appreciated. If you actually have any of the models I've mentioned, then even better! You can tell me how you like them. Thank you everyone for reading my babble.

P.S. I'll post pictures of her progression this summer.

Yup, and it's all the same stuff.....melted tires.
007, what's wrong with the Profile CL1200 amp? I had some friends tell me that they are reliable and have you ever seen them? Profile Clarus looks tight!

As for you Steel, I wanted a stick, but the only 330s they had at the dealer were automatic. So sad. I don't mind though, because I don't really need a stick until I pump up some serious HP.

Does anyone know if the Dynamat replacements go on as easily, last as well, or work as well as the original?
Oh, and as for mids and highs, the HK system that comes with my ride is easily sufficient. Just needs bump.
Trust me. the price u pay for the profile you can get a much better amp.
I have a friend hooking me up with a CL1200 for $170. I hear the amp is sick. I haven't actually gotten ANYTHING yet, save a wireless Traveller radar detector. It's all coming in the summer.
That reminds me, has anyone ever had any near-ticket-experiences that you might have with the Traveller radar detector? Does it suck or is it a decent bacon spotter? The new wave of wireless detectors don't have much info on them yet. Thanks.
Keep this in mind when choosing audio equipment. You get what you pay for!
I'm getting Circuit City fresh equipment. My homeboy works there, and I'm paying $170 for it. Would you recommend the Profile at even that price, because I've heard very good things about it.

dude for 170 i would sell you my MTX 500D. My birthsheet shows like 975 watts at 2ohms certified.
So does anyone actually have this sh*t installed on their cars? I'd really like to see some pics and hear how they're workin out.
