I have a 2003 M3.

If I want to keep the chrome surrounds but blacken out the slats couldn't I just buy some old kidneys off of a normal 3er coupe (probably 325??). Has anyone done this?

I dont know are the grills the same size as a regular 3er since I know the M3 hood is different, not sure if they made the grills different. If you have a friend with a regular 3 pop his off and see if they fit

You can get the grills with just black slats from the dealer, they fit the m3 fine. Sorry I dont have the PN's offhand.

i bought them from bav auto, but this was a while back, you could prob get them cheaper from cutters, circle, or pacific. they came actually as a whole set with the chrome outer part.
