Hi, I'm wondering if someone can dig up the various types of headlight switch assemblies that BMW uses in the E46 in its various models. The North American ones all look pretty similar (headlights, fog switch), but I know there's other ones out there (incl. rear fog switch, leveling dial, etc.) Anyway - I'd appreciated it if someone could post pictures or something (preferably with part numbers) for some of these different kinds of switch assemblys.

I don't know if this is hard work or not (I don't have an ETK CD), but I would be very grateful to anyone who could do it.

If I haven't been clear enough on what I'm looking for - let me know and I'll try and be more specific.

Thanks in advance!

Mine has switches for the rear/front fogs, and the leveling dial. Do you need pictures?

Thanks! This is very close to what I'm looking for. The perfect piece would only include the extra button, and not the dial, but this will do greatly.

If anyone's interested in what I'm trying to do here: Basically I'm going to dismantle the concealed display unit of a V1 and install it into the gauge panel as a few fanatics have already done. However, I would still like to have the mute button available (and the far side of my rearview mirror where the detector hangs is too far for my lazy @ss). Anyway, I'm going to wire it up to another button - and I don't want to install some radio shack button on my dash or cut up my trim or anything. So I'm looking for an panel from BMW with an 'extra' button that I can wire up to the concealed display unit.

Questions/Comments?
