yesterday i decided to paint my exterior black. so in the process of taking out the long trim piece at the top, and i thought i took out all the screws, so im pulling on the trim and it wont come out and i thought it was stuck, so i grab a flathead, put a towel over it so i wont mess up the paint and tried to pry off the trim. i kept on pressing down and it wouldnt budge then i see a screw in between the trim and the car, so i take out the screw and the trim comes right off.

okay so now heres the problem, when i was trying to pull the trim off with the flat head i was denting in the car right above the trim!!! so now theres like 8 dents goin all along above the trim and its bugging me! i want to fix it and i need help on how i should do it! can i just pop it out? or do i need to bondo it and repaint it? gimme some advice guys! Thanks and here are the pics.

Try this option. go out 2 stables and buy a big can of compressed air.

#1 Heat up the dent with a hair dryer. make sure the dent gets really hot. keep the dry there for about a min.

#2 After a min has passed quickly move the hairdryer away and grab ur compressed air can. flip is upside down and spry on the dent. spray a good amount of it on. it should start freezeing. after like 7 secs of spraying. let it melt.

as it melts the dent should pop up. Do one dent at a time. for more info just check youtube for videos.

I tried it and it worked surprisenly:woot: Goodluck

I don't think that surface is malleable enough to pop. That's a very hard surface, unlike a normal bowed door panel.

the bad thing about trying to pop the metal is its already expanded. it was stretched from the screw driver, and if you pop it the other way(which will be wicked difficult to do because its strong metal), itll just stick out. thats why these dent guys are talented, they are able to kind of compress the metal back in to place.

That is 100% true. With a dent, the metal gets stretched.Meaning that there is more metal there, but its now thinner. The only way a PDR guy can get to it is to remove the headliner and he may need to drill some holes. That area is strong. And there are like 20 or so screws that hold that molding on the coupe.
