Lol. Some people have no idea. Let's lash it up and make it shite, rather than doing it properly for less time and cost and add in some inferior parts at the same time.

Let us know how it does after a rain shower or freeze, I suspect that it may be a bit humid or will need more defrosting of the windshield than normal.

1) well sry to ruin fun but it doesn’t mean they didn’t leave the vapor barrier still in
2) car is an E36
3) removing interior door panels and other weight isn’t uncommon on raced cars replacing with skins and pull strap
4) why you’d race a cabrio is perplexing

Also perplexing is why you'd leave speakers in a racecar's lightweight door panels.

Yeh, you'd save far more weight by removing the carpet.

And the soft top.

I was going to post that I have similar panels in my raceycar, sans speakers, but Vick beat me to it.

I don't have speakers in my door panels but my door panels are still the stock ones.
