Was this moved from the General boards?

I'm confused about everyone wanting to see them back in business.. company goes under, mismanagement, etc.. owner goes MIA.. random forum member and best bud winds up with rights to the kit.. smells like the Pikes Peak Fish Market on a warm summers day. Then people want to see them reopen after tons of customers are still up shits creek with unfilled orders and deposits gone missing/etc.

Really? I mean really guys?

LOL please make at least some attempt to keep it factual. HPF will never reopen, what Chris does after this I really don't care. This week I have been working with vendors to get their product back, so much for your theory that HPF simply took that. Paid for orders that I find are going out as soon as I can find them. As for your "tons of customers" please post up a list of names and order numbers. At most we are talking 20ish, Kirk and I have come up with the same number. Of those half orders have already mailed, despite them doing charge backs. You have been spouting off on this forum for the last 10 days making claims where you don't have a single piece of evidence to back it up. Did you help get peoples cars out? No. Did you help get orders out? No. Have you sent countless hours trying to find orders? No. Have you spent hours on the phone with vendors arranging product return? No. Yet you have all these opinions that some great conspiracy that happened. This conspiracy would literally have to include former HPF staff, vendors, attorneys and shippers all working in union to make your claims valid. Oh ya the kit you claim I mysteriously received, I am working on a deal to give it to the staff. They are the biggest losers in this. The turbo kit will come back better than ever, I look forward to seeing them grow it into the company it should have been all along.

Can you clarify what Chris' involvement is? And if the company is in bankruptcy? And why the heck you are involved in the liquidation?

If you really believe in what you are doing, and are truly there to try and help people in their shitty situation you wouldn't being saying this. This just proves you are in it for personal gain for you and whoever else is involved behind closed doors.

I really am trying to help dallas. Nothing is labeled, vendors are throwing part numbers and PO's. People have been screwed and I am really trying to help figure it out. How do you get personal gain, I am not keeping the stuff. Feel free to come to my house and help out. Kirk has been there, it's a huge undertaking. I'm going to take a few days off and start back up. Just venting.

The gain would be being viewed by those that were screwed over by the HPF closure as a good guy. Seeing as how you may be or have or whatever acquired the rights to their biggest asset, you would then gain the trust of its followers and set right in for the profits.

Current gain, maybe not. Future gain, yes indeed.

1. Help clean up someone's mess
2. Gaine respect
3. ???
4. Profit

The fact that the "owner" doesn't seem to be doing anything to fix his mess kind of negates the thought that he is a good guy and/or business owner. That coupled with what a prior employee of HPF told me I couldn't vouch for him even though I don't know him personally. That place was on thin ice years ago.

Been following this since I found out. It is surprising, but not really. At the dyno day it was strange.. chris comes off on the wrong foot immediately, all the employees we're super awesome though explaining things when I was looking around and just being a sponge on how everything worked and what nots. Chris actually badmouthed a WELL PAYING customer to me... I won't say who but I was shocked. All that money spent on the track car, then the drag car just to say I broke 10's when Marcus demolished it shortly after the disgusting display of service that was coming from HPF. Now Max PSI has broke 10's. Somethings just been amiss with that company for a while, I remember the theft thread and what not, that sucks, but seriously, there are departments to handle specific areas of a business for a reason. Your techs should NOT be running invoices and collecting payments. Techs are techs, accountants are accountants etc etc.

Management kills a company, you can combat a theft if you have proper systems in place, you can't combat owner/manager stupidity...

ForcefedM3, Derek right? I can honestly say you've shown a lot of character these past few weeks, you kinda came off as a douche before. But I respect you for at least making an attempt, but you've got to hold back the personal battles in the eye of the public, it will make people see the potential for shady behavior. I'm glad you have gotten cars to owners and it sounds like orders are going out and what not. Kudos to you and Kirk for taking care of everyone. But really, you sound like you have knowledge of the business world and you should know as well as I that reputation and professional appearance is everything. You can't pick a fight with everyone who comes at you. This also goes to everyone, even with personal frustrations with HPF and what not, this isn't about your gripe or bitterness towards Chris or whomever. It's about getting the parts and everything that's been paid for out the door and then finishing the legal stuff out of the public eye.

No one needs to know you own the rights to the kits, I'm surprised an NDA hasn't been put in place to keep things quiet until the dust settles. It shouldn't be about who's gonna profit from the kit rights or when is HPF Making their comeback. Make everyone right and settle this the professional way. I'm surprised Chris hasn't shown up to own up to what's happened, I can't say I'm surprised based on what I've read over the years. But whatever it's not my place to judge. I'm not going to say it was the 200k theft or not that killed the company, but my opinions are it's not, 175k after a 25k insurance payout is small in comparison to HPF's supposed revenue. POOR MANAGEMENT and misappropriation of funds (toys) killed it IMO.

ForcefedM3, honestly just keep it up, get everyone there stuff and then settle it, it doesn't need to be public business anymore, you're gonna piss yourself off by having to deal with people attacking your motives, it's not worth it. Take care of everyone and feel good about the help you gave.

Well said, in light of all the bitterness that occurred within the past few weeks, Derek - keep doing what you're doing (helping those in need) and you will have gained respect upon yourself and among others. In the end Karma always comes a-knocking; whether it be a pat on the back or a kick in the ass. Lets try to help these members out
