Get out here ****** you trying to capitalize on the misery of others :p

Sup bruh haha.
Totally not, Actually i am trying to help them out!!

WTF you doing on here anyway? i see you everywhere! lol
I'm everywhere, plus I just bought an E46 haha. But seriously I'm on just about every car forum :p
How HPF implemented the AEM was not ideal. There are videos from HPF showing it running basically like a piggyback (tuning laptop interface screen, accidental shot). I would take the MaxPSI kit any day because it has proper tuning, by a known expert. HPF hasn't even had a tuner for the last 3 years, and they went down in flames for not being able to manage a company worth a damn.

Also, look at the HPF intake manifold. Garbage design. Especially how they setup the meth injection. And then look at how Chris badmouthed the SteedSpeed once he lost rights to the e46 distribution. That shows a lot of class. To everyone who stated HPF cast a better turbo manifold ITT - They didn't. They bought the SteedSpeed and had distribution rights. That's the best news ever for HPF customers. Get rid of the sloppy AEM, get a proper NickG tune, and keep on going. If the HPF motor hasn't popped by now, it hopefully was machined and assembled right so it should give 20k+ of life. Most likely it will go into receivership and be sold off. Contact their lawfirm, Black Helterline, for first dibs. Its also entirely possible they lease or have loans on their equipment, and then the debt holders will have first right.
I disagree on the intake manifold being garbage. The meth system, the amount the high boost map relies on meth and the lack of monitoring the amount of meth used is another story. Now as far as chris b is concerned; respect is earned not given. If an owner/employer gives notice the day of to his staff that they are no longer employed, makes zero effort to his customers within 24hours as to the status of purchased goods and/or services then karma would suggest he be bunkmates w/David.

I agree.

You can always tell when someone is hating on a product compared to someone who has a legitimate gripe with it.

Suggesting that the fiasco with steedspeed and the cast log manifold was embarrasing.. absolutely.. suggesting the AEM V1 is NOW antiquated.. sure. Was the kit over priced? No.. it was OVER ENGINEERED.. not the same thing. Was the intake manifold garbage.. absolutely not.. JP designed that intake manifold in Solidworks and using thermal dynamics and testing in Solidworks analyzer decided it was the best all around manifold for all stages. Could a different manifold have been designed for different kits wanting different results? Absolutely.. but on the WHOLE we're talking about a kit that is on over 150 cars, probably close to 100 of them making 600rwhp or more and a few people blow engines, a few people have issues, and most of which come right to the forums.. I'd say they did a pretty damn good job making very reliable turbo'd BMW's.

You can go back and read the 55+ page threads on my car and you will never once find me insulting HPF's staff, their kit, or anything along that lines. My problem was always (and I made it clear) that I felt Chris was trying to exploit my situation to shut down ProEFI's attempted entrance into the market. I didn't like that, so I intentionally flipped the script on him.. I'm a stand up guy, I've done as much as I can for local members, and others.. I help where I can .. but if you try to use me, or try to take advantage of me, or other good people... I will stop at no ends to make sure you regret the day you made that decision.

 You absolutely are a stand up guy. Everybody needs to stop and listen to what Marcus is saying. If anyone has negative things to say its him and he speaks truth.

Hpf absolutely made the best overall kit on the market. End of story. I have a lot of respect for you Marcus from that last post.

This. Hi.

Thanks for everything.

Thanks bud!

It gets old when people attack HPF on the basis of Chris. If you're going to insult someone or direct anger.. direct it at the person who touched you in your naughty bits.. not the poor guys making less than they should, shlupping away for 12hrs a day for crap pay, making good products, trying to help you out for free postmortem (Kirk, Etc).. I've watched John and crew work until 9pm at night the day before MFest tuning customers cars, helping with parts etc only to then hop directly into a truck and haul it 20hrs straight only to sleep in the truck, wake up 2 hours later and assemble a MASSIVE tent and display booth and then fix customers cars all day in the heat .. mean while Chris B is over there farting around with Fallon/whomever doing jack ****.. barking commands, etc.. Chris B was a dingle berry but watching the good hard working staff have their products and efforts insulted is just low brow.

Chris B did not design or implement or install these kits.. he simply profited from them. So when you insult the kit your insulting people like JP's work, and Johns work and the others who worked hard to bring a product to the market that for all intents and purposes was pretty ****ing bad ass when it came out. Now they're all jobless and you're sitting there kicking them.. direct your anger to the individual who caused all these, not the guys (whom if you ever met you'd certainly be singing different praises) who got stuck in the crossfire.

This. Hi.

Thanks for everything.
You're welcome bud! Hope you get some use out of it and we'll see you on the flip side

Oh already have! And quite a lot.
Definitely stoked to get to the flip side already
The tune John gave me on my dinosaur EMS must really suck. Bet your bottom dollar I'll be giving the same scrutiny when I get a ride in a nick g tuned car @WOT. It hasn't burped once since pdx
Oh and I've got stories about John, Chris K, and Champ/Joey/etc that would ****ing blow your minds.. stories of them offering to help when Chris B tried to screw me over.. some of their offers I just simply had to flat out refuse because I couldn't allow them to do that, it was to generous/etc.

If you think my car made it to mfest and ran a 10.56 in a week all with just Saad and Jason.. you're wrong. ProEFI, Saad AND John/Champ/Chris K all pulled together to make my car get to MFest on time.. I wasn't even friends with John.. I'd never spoken to him.. he called me out of the blue and said I want to help, tell me where to go.. I got this. My car went from parts on the floor to on the dyno in less than 48hrs... John asked that I not give him any credit for it.. NONE.. I think now's a good time that he get that credit..

This is Chris K, Champ and John in Arizona.. on a Saturday in 95 degree heat putting my car together.. I tried to offer them payment, they refused. They flew in, assembled the car, flew out.. less than 24 hours in Arizona. Like a ****ing bad ass traveling hit man.. building bad ass cars. Love those guys!

I didn't know that.

Jesus I might have to give them an e-blowjob.

Your situation really showed your character. You are now an honorary Canadian!

Being I grew up in Minnesota I think I was already at least 25% Canadian. :craig:

Those three guys have some serious dedication to cars and their owners. Props to the A-Team of the automotive world!

I should probably add that Jason tuned it, Saad built the motor, John/ChrisK/Champ assembled it. Everyone deserves credit, it was an awesome ensemble of talent all in one place pulling together to make a wrong right.. and I was very moved by John's offer and everyone's efforts... it was a pretty exciting week to say the least.
