Anyway! Hey! My question is: How do i rev my cars engine from the enginebay?
My friend owns a beautiful e36 320ci. He can rev the engine directly from the engine bay. I wonder if I can do the same on my e46 320ci 2000? Is that even possible?
2000 320ci possibly has a cable driven throttle body.
Find the throttle body under the intake manifold, if there is a cable attached to it, pull carefully, the engine should rev.
The 2000 should be drive by cable. Reach down between the intake boot
and the firewall and your hand will be exactly at the cable. And don't even
think about getting married!
You won't break anything, but try it first with the engine off.
The picture wouldn't show you where it is, you have to feel
around with your hand to find it. Just reach down past the DISA valve.
