My passanger side DAE bulb went out. So I opened it up, easy, than noticed that the bulb is kept in place by 2 strategically placed shields I guess, that basically act as walls by holding the bulb in place. My question is...HOW THE FAWK DO YOU REMOVE THE "WALLS"????????

They are both screwed in by these insanly small screws that are neither phillips or flat head. Anyone familiar with Herb's DAE's and or how to remove the bulbs, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:dunno:

mine just went out too, after working for almost a year and a half. you can find these bulbs at your local home depot, I think. they're one of those interior lighting bulbs ppl use to shine on paintings and stuff.

umnitza, the bulb is $5 plus $5 shipping? I was able to pry it out w/ some needle nose pliers. I figuered I could buy the bulb at a local hardware store. How much different are the two bulbs?
