it seems that the download from dropbox gives up after 13.62GB, not sure what is going on. Also, I am unable to unzip the file in DropBox... Any insight?No need to appologies, this is awesome! Giving this whirl, will let you know if I run into issues.

Possibly might be an issue on your end?it seems that the download from dropbox gives up after 13.62GB, not sure what is going on. Also, I am unable to unzip the file in DropBox... Any insight?
Weird!The file keeps failing to download from Orangedox, I have steady connection. Kinda weird. Do you have a different link or a different file hosting site you use?
Interesting! Maybe Ill upload it as a rar file, instead of a .7z.@tbouchard991
Interesting, I downloaded the Dropbox link and was still having the same issue opening the .7z file. I tried to extract it without opening the file, just right clicking, and it worked! I have yet to get it on my laptop, but I will be trying it sometime tomorrow, along with some diagnosis testing. If any issues arise, I'll be sure to post a reply. Thank you for this helpful software!
That's a good question! Im not too sure.When I'm using DCAN cable to run ista, the vehicle test takes lots of time, wonder if you guys experiencing this too? Will change to enet cable help?
Great to know! Thanks. Ill add that to the FAQ.Unfortunately I tried ENET and found that it only work on F series and later model...
Hello, i tried to install ISTA+ on my windows 7 laptop. But the installer won't let me. It said my windows version isnt supported. My c drive has about 200gb free space. Any suggestion?
Edit: OP's guide mentioned win7. But it looks like ISTA+ will only run on windows 10.
Hello I ran into problem, I have K+DCAN that doesn't have switch on it. ISTA+ gives me error "The vehicle could not be identified successfully. Check vehicle interface and 'PAD actice'."Oh, that is interesting! I'll edit the post for the mean time and ill look into it.
Is your port in the EBIDAS.INI set as the same as the hardware?Hello I ran into problem, I have K+DCAN that doesn't have switch on it. ISTA+ gives me error "The vehicle could not be identified successfully. Check vehicle interface and 'PAD actice'."
This cable works when I use INPA on my other laptop that runs windows 7. I guess the cable itself should be fine. So not sure what's wrong. Can you help me?
I already changed the line "Interface = STD:OBD" in EDIABAS.INI file. still not working..I also tried this setup on BMW E60 520i 2004. It doesn't work either.
Interface =STD:OBD
Simulation = 0
EcuPath =C:\EDIABAS\ECU
SimulationPath =C:\EDIABAS\SIM
TracePath =C:\EDIABAS\TRACE
TraceSize = 1024
Interface must be set to the above not ENE or any of the
other of the 3 possibilitys for Interfaces.
OBD.ini in the Windows directory must be set to the
same port as you use in device manager
[OBD]
Port=Com9 (This can be set to whatever port is open, I believe mine is set to COM1)
Hardware=USB
RETRY=ON
I coildn't find PORT definition in EBIADAS.ini, but I had changed interface definition to "Interface =STD:OBD"Is your port in the EBIDAS.INI set as the same as the hardware?
haha i think i am right behind you in getting this configured. Got ISTA installed and my K+DCAN arrived today. Mine has the switch. But not connecting to the car. same error message as you. Just saw your previous post so went in an edited the EBIADAS.ini to STD:OBD but i can't find any OBD.ini file. Did search of entire drive. My USB port is COM3 for the cable. And don't see anything in ISTA to manage that configuration. Hoping TBOUCHARD can guide us to the light!I coildn't find PORT definition in EBIADAS.ini, but I had changed interface definition to "Interface =STD:OBD"
I haven't changed OBD.ini though. Where can i find this? Is it in ista+ installation folder?
Also, i read again pin 7 and pin 8 my K+DCAN cable has to be bridged for <2007 car year? Is this true? My cable doesn't have switch.
Yeah, I just checked my windows I didn't find OBD.ini under windows folder, or in ISTA installation folder. I did search the whole C drive, not found. I'm waiting for @tbouchard991 for his next advice.haha i think i am right behind you in getting this configured. Got ISTA installed and my K+DCAN arrived today. Mine has the switch.
