Smoother more traditional clutch operation. No harm to the transmission unless you like to "dump the clutch" too often. It which case you tranny is doomed anyway.
I just took mine out this weekend. It seems to be more sensitive and engage quicker than it used to. I have still not totally gotten used to it, but it shouldn't take me long.
I found that when i did mine the biggest thing was that i could shift like i used to on other cars. It drove me nuts i felt like i was driving for the first time with that damn thing in there. Really some of us know how to shift and don't need a check valve to help us.
Thanks guys. Im actually about to take it off on the 323i. My cluch has a about 10000 miles o. It so its not a lot. But its just been acting weird since I put it in there.
