How rare is the Aerodynamics package?

it wasn’t very common. there was a blue 328Ci with it at the dealership on display when I bought my 323Ci. BMW coming from the E36 M3 it was a closer sporty styling transition between the two.
i may be mistaken but pretty sure it was a BMW Accessory. meaning it was installed after by the dealership. unlike most other later M-tech body parts installed at production line. also there wasn’t a package that came with this iirc.
they also had a much more modest Sedan and Station wagon one. those were more add-on facia/lips than whole bumpers.
BMW did close outs pricing on these for cheap long ago.

Would be great if someone has an original price list from 1999, so we can see if it's listed, but then that wouldn't be definitive, as the importer for each market didn't always let customers order everything the factory would build.
i have that and it’s listed as a “BMW center-installed accessory”
along with the 18” Radial wheels

I have a 330i sedan with the m-sport package. It's a 2002 so its a facelift (you call that m-tech 2 here if I'm not wrong). My car also has the option "0716 Aerodynamics Package" which I can't seem to find any info about. Has anyone here heard of it before?
you’re talking about Sedans which are different to topic here. those are very common. It’s either:

Or M-Tech 2:

I would do MTechII bumpers and M3Rep side skirts, if such a thing exists.
curious why M3 sideskirt and not M-Tech II sideskirts?

The package was only available as an optional extra, and it needs to be registered.
well as the thread explains, it wasn’t “only” available as an optional extra. certainly not abroad in the North America/USA market.

what exactly do you mean it needs to be registered?
