Some people told me that waxing the car will make more strach on the car is that true....

they suggest me not to wax the car...no matter wut....

i wax about 3 times a year.

 

[Concept]

Once at the begining of each season should be good. This way you get a good coat on before the summer heat hits and another good coat before winter hits. The other two times will just be for good nature considering the weather isn't really all that bad in the fall and spring. Touch up with a spray detailer once a month if not every two weeks and you'll be fine. And maybe a clay bar treatment once per year.

I wax it about once every month. I know its a lot, but when you live in sunny Florida, the sun bakes the wax right off, and I wash my car about 2-3 times a week. So it comes off fast. I'd rather be safe(and smooth) with a coat of wax, then no coat of wax.

You must wax!

you should wax your car once every 3 months, and if you live by the ocean once every 2 months. It is very important that you wax your car to keep the paint smooth and protect it from the elements that eat the clear coat, bird crap,tree sap, acid rain, road salt and so on. Here's how I take care of my paint:

Car Wash = 1-2 weeks
Meguiars Quick Detail = every other car wash
Meguiars Quick Wax = once a month
Meguiars 3 step = 3-4 months

Im going to switch to Zaino within a few months because I like how it is easy to apply and it doesnt leave white residue like traditional wax does.

Here's what I do:

Wash: every two weeks
Wax: once per month using Zymol Concours applied by hand (ie, no applicator).

My car's finish looks and feels like the day it was delivered.

I wash my car about once every 2-4 weeks (depending how dirty it is). If I notice that the water doesn't bead, then I'll clean the paint/polish/wax. This wil be about every 2 months or so. Befre I start cleaning the paint, I'll feel the texture, if It's rough, I'll clay also. Usually after I get home every day, Ill use the california duster and some quick detailer with microfiber. One time I lasted an entire month without washing my car and it was just as clean as the day after I washed it.
