it's been 4 years now.
i know that in forced induction forums instead of telling you 'welcome' they tell you 'ARP studs, cut ring, rods, pistons' but if you don't care about mainstream mods, 15psi are just fine with stock internals as long as you have a proper tune.

 

yes i know. i'm making 10 psi's at 6500rpm's, i was thinking on trying to make 7000rpm's, maybe 12/13psi's :bump: with proper tune and 98 gasoline

I thought superchargers didn't run a lot of boost?

whell, i'm not selling mine, but my pulley as 125mm and does 10psi's on a tm12 blower.

Running around 35-38 psi, depending on atmospheric pressure & elevation.

Completely stock. In tires only.

Running 13psi at 6500 rpm on a stock m54b30 with a custom rotrex setup for 1,5 years now. The engine is unopened and has 150000 miles on it.

 

I am currently running 78mm pulley on a 330ci ess ts2+ car (10 - 11 psi) with custom tune by George Gelashvili and I have 392bhp and 465nm engine stock apart from cams

 

323i with b30 intake and intake cam, ms43 ecu and etc...
Runing 10 to 15 psi, with 10psi its safe and makes around 360hp at crank, with 15psi and more agressive ignition probably was 400+ but broke gearbox in a day, next upgrade is gearbox probably will try e46 m3 gearbox, but maybe will try from 320d 6speed manual its more cheaper..
Now have boost leak, but still with leak i do 100-200km\h in 12.2s, m3 does in 12.4s

 

What is the etc in the engine mods? With the ms43 did you changed the throttlebody?

19 PSI on the GTX30 turbo

Just changed to a GTX40....so probably will go more. (Aiming for 1,000hp with a DP nitrous system on top of the boost)

10 psi on generic .63 a/r turbine turbo, tuned on MS43. Minor exhaust leak so full boost at around 3600 rpm.

Going OT here but, do any of you MS43/42 guys wanna start a thread where we can compare our tune files? Obviously there is going to be some risk so we would need to set up some sort of disclaimer. I'd gladly share my tune file and injector specs once I get my MAF sensor working again. If so we would need to give some basic info like what engine load (mg/stk) is your boost level, and if you run a modified maf sensor or not

 

That'd be a great idea. I would love to view the tunes so I could learn about tuning MS43 for turbo

 

The GTX30 was too small.....it choked pretty hard on the turbine side at about 4300 RPM.

I'm using a Steed Speed Twinscroll manifold.

No dynos with the GTX30

I've run a 75 shot of nitrous starting at 2500....and it was fun...changed to GTX40...will probably run more nitrous.

 

Runing more psi on lower rpms is a big stress for engines

Thats why supercharger in my opinion are more safe

 

in a turbo in normal driving in the street or highway, you easily make boost, in a supercharger i can drive all day and not make any kind of boost.

There is no problem to drive turbo everyday, u want boost u make boost if u dont then no boost its diferent things, mine is turbo, but i also get to drive my friends chraged 325ti, it makes around 300hp at crank, its realy fast from low rpms to end, but that moment then you getting full boost....
