how much do type 45's weigh? I think that's what I have on my 99' 323i, they're 16's. Also, what slows you down more, going up in wheel size, or the weight? or a combo of both????
I believe someone said they weight 45 pounds (with tires).
I am also wondering how much just the rim weighs. Both will slow you down. Although I think if you keep the same wheel/tire diameter when getting bigger rims, you will be fine (low profile tires). The best is to get rims lighter than stock with low profile tires to keep the same diameter.
