How much would it cost to lower it about an inch and a half?

Should i do it at a bmw dealership to make sure its done right or could i go somewhere else where they would most likely charge me a cheaper price?

unless u go dinan, i dont think a bmw dealership would drop a car...........labor rates are usually 60 - 65$ an hour and for coils it should take a place 3 hours tops

How much did you lower your car by clem?

And what type of springs do you have? and how much for them?

Is that all I need , springs?

What are coils that the other dood was talkin about ?

As you can see, I dont know **** about springs and lowering.

You'd better get coilover if you have the fund.
Spring is the cheap way to drop cars but as the result the ride becomes not comfortable. Aftermarket spring that you buy most likely will have different compression rate than the stock spring. Stock spring is designed to work with stock shock, they have the same compression rate.
This is the reason to get coilover which consists of spring and shock as a package and work well together.
If you're still interested in spring, I have a set H&R race spring for sale. Email or PM me. :)

It took me $285 +shipping and $165 for install for my UUC v1 springs. That's about $450.
Then i got my coilovers for $900+ and install was free because i did it myself. (Add about $50 for tools but they pay for themselves over time)

The dealership will charge you about 4 hours labour

if you want a really really good job with installation take it to CG motorsport.. they charge about 3 hours labour at $60 cdn without alignment

I took my car to bavaria.. they do a good job but their work quality isnt as good as they use to be.
