Hey, I heard that e46 had 4 lambdas so I was looking for them and found two on the exhaust cat. I couldn't really find nothing else.

Well, it shouldn't be cracked so having it fixed is a good idea. Is it the cause of the smoke? I can't say but if the smoke smells like burning coolant, you could have a bad head gasket.
I'm currently waiting for kdcan cable so I can read the codes, but it is not thick fog smoke. Also could you help me identify what the previous owner tried on this?

Oh wow, never noticed that, should I get this welded asap? Could this be the thing causing the mpg? I will check for more in the morning.
Unplug the precat O2 and see how the car runs. I would, a crack near the O2 sensor is likely tricking the car into thinking it's running lean, so it'll keep increasing the fuel injection
