How frequently do you guys with Dinan/Benfer CAI clean or replace your filters?

I try to do it everytime I do my oil (every 5000 miles or so)

i heard from my tunner that installed it

on a gruppe m intake to check it like once a year or around 10,000
miles. i am not even sure about that my self.

According to K&N's website, it should be cleaned every 30-50,000 miles. The collection of dirt on the filter actually helps it filtering ability.

I clean the K&N on my s/c at least once/year. If you live in a dusty area, do it about that often... If you live in a clean area, I would say every 18-24 months.

Be sure to use the K&N filter kit and DO NOT OVER OIL THE FILTER!!! You can seriously damage your MAF sensor if you over oil the element.

I do it about once a year too. KN site said that it dirt that is stuck on the filter helps filter out the air better i think.

Yea dont overoil the filter, i did that with a kn drop in filter in my explorer and messed up the MAF sensor.
