I Have a 2002 BMW E46 cabriolet and would like to know how you remove the black plastic panel behind the central arm rest? to make a hole through to the boot??

Also is it possible to buy second hand or replacement central armrests as i would like to modify it to become a speaker grill by removing all of the foam from the middle??

On the 4dr 323 E46 car that i have, i just got a rubber hammer and knocked it through. I had to pull armrest down, lift it to remove it, and cut perforations in the sound proofing, and kick/knock it through
