I'm about to buy a entire set of HK speakers but I want to know if will work with the existing amp that my car has thats if it has one which I don't know.

Unless your car came with the HK system or you have put the HK amp in, I would guess no they will not work - have different ohm ratings than the non-HK system

just an honest question, if you were gonna purchase a set of speakers, why the HK's?

imo these speakers are terrible. I have the HK's and i'm going BSW's soon.
