I am not going to spend my golfing and daughter's college fund money on big brake kits, so let's not discuss that.

Just want to get some opinions about whether red calipers would be a little ricey or would be a nice touch. They are black now.

To put it in perspective, I am nearly a growth adult at 51 years old but I resist the compulsion to act like one.

My wife says "no" but my daughers both say "very cool."

What say you?

Thanks.

One of the guys here painted his calipers silver. Looked really awesome. Red is just draws too much attention to our little calipers IMO.

Cool lookin' car by the way.

Ive seen it done on a E46 M3 with the brembo kit, and it was beautiful. I think it will also look good on yours too. Pics of mine, Silver on red. Anyway, Good luck and either way you go, black just looks good period.

Manila, whats going on bro. I will be coming your way sometime this fall. I will keep in touch with you and see if we can hook up. I will be coming to see my fiancee there. I usually come to Luzon 3 or 4 times a year. I also spent a bit of time in Zamboanga and Basilan. Take care and e-mail me back when you get a chance bro. Pic of my ride.

Whats the best place to get red or silver or black caliper paint??
I bought the black from Tire Rack. It comes as a kit with the paint, brush & cleaner. Price is between $40-50 I think. Numerous colors to choose from. Good Luck!

Well here's mine. I did end up buying Brembo brake kit but just to give you an idea what red calipers look like against black.
