a friend of mine that owns a 3 series opened her door with the valet key when the alarm was armed and the alarm went off...its been 10 minutes and its still going. does anyone know how to turn off the alarm and get the alarm functioning properly again?

i know its probably really simple and stupid but can someone help?

Did you try stopping it with the regular key?

use your master key

you can turn the key in the lock or try hiting the control button to lock your car and then hit the button to open your car.

but you can stop the siren by turning the key in the lock with one of the master keys.
