hey guys i just installed a new xenon headlight in my car and the dash light lights up saying that i have a headlight out. but when i turn them on, the light goes off. what am i supposed to do to get rid of this problem. also i heard people saying that you have to do alot of retrofitting to get the high beams to work if the headlight is not bi-xenon (which it isnt) but mine just come on just like the regular ones did. :dunno: any suggestion?

I believe that you can have the dealership reprogram your car to remove the light and recognize the Xenons.

yeah, do a search on this. You need an ECU reprogram from the dealer like russ said. The car recognizes the difference in resistance when you switched from halogens to xenons, and it thinks the halogen is burned out
