Would the race springs made by H&R for the non-M3 E46 (99-03)BMW coupe fit a 99 323i Sedan (non-sport suspension). I would use some aftermarket sport shocks with these springs if they would fit. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Clem!
I called H&R yesterday for an answer and they were confused and said they have not tested this for fittment. Their web site lists the following part numbers for race springs:

323 sedan (non-sport suspension): 29484

323 sedan (with sport suspenion) and all coupes: 50484-88

So would these two parts work interchangebly on 323 sedan/non-sport suspension?

I don't have the part number for the race springs I am considering to buy.

hmmm that's new

29485 used to be the H&R sport for sedans

29484 used to be the race for coupe/sedans

I think 50484-88 could be a new variant based on the "Jawknee setup", E46 race springs up front and E36 M3 race springs in the rear. That setup provides a more even drop.

Clem..

the 29484 is now designated as coupe's SPORT suspension and the new 50484 is the new RACE springs for the coupe.. it gives a a bit of more drop in the rear than the 29484

29484
Approximate Lowering - Front 1.4" Rear 0.75"

50484
Approximate Lowering - Front 1.1" Rear 0.9"
