Help with springs & shocks. Which has more impact on firmness of ride? Can you change shocks without changing springs and what impact would it have on the car and it's performance. BMW 330I 2002.

the springs are which give you the firmness off the ride changing the shocks might give you a softer ride but if you want better performance change the springs and shocks or just springs

Do shocks and springs! BMW OEM shocks are not designed for aftermarket springs alone. Your best bet is to try and match the two.

I would recommend a cupkit which is a specifically matched set of springs and shocks...if u really want a nice setup tho u can get coilovers which are adjustable shocks with springs...
