and if your gonna do interior speakers eventually, u'll need a

JL 300/4 Amp or u can opt for the JL 450/4 if $$$ isn't an issue:thumbup:

u can go with the 1000/1(around $725) but it's pushing it....i'm gonna use a 500/1 on 12W6v2's so u'll be fine with one 500/1($410) JL Audio amp for both those easily!

you get alot more bang for your buck with 500/5

The 500/5 is one of the most intuitively designed multi-channel amps on the market. It's dual-classed, meaning that the sub channel is a dedicated class-4 architecture- it's designed to pound subs, while most multi-channel amps just give you carbon-copies of the same class a/b channels...

If you're gonna use 1 amp for your whole system (which seems to be a good idea given the stock alternator of the bimmers) I would say the 500/5 is the way to go. you can parralel the sub leads to squeaze the most power out and it will not take away from the main channels- provided you use a cap anyway...

just my 2 cents- If it weren't for the sheer convenience of my commuter car just dying, and having a P640 at my fingertips, I'd be buying a 500/5 for this one myself.
