on an AUTOMATIC?? no, it won't fit, its for a manual...

Yes it will fit. I am 100% as to I've know 3 people who have manual shift knobs on their auto's. Infact I know someone on these boards who has a M3 Illuminated Shift Knob on his Automatic Transmission knob.

Ya I always wondered about this, if you put a manual shift knob on an automatic (assuming it fits) how do you shift with out releasing the lock...is the lock automatically released and you just move it as needed or what?
