So, I have a 2000 BMW 323ci
during the weekend I was driving back home when my car started to sputtering. It lost power and the engine died on me, ever since then my engine turns but it doesn't start unless I spray carb cleaner into the mass airflow sensor. I checked for an air leakage and fuel but nothing. The only code I get is P0347 which turns out to be the Intake Camshaft sensor.

Do any of you know if this will cause the engine from starting? I would think that the computer would compensate for the faulty part.

Help please

The symptoms you are describing are typical of a failed fuel pump.

That's what I thought, I've change the fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter and check the pump (only 5months old) everything worked. But it still doesn't start.

Fuel pump relay could also be an issue??

Simple test, swap the horn and fuel pump relay.

If the relay is good, check the fuses in the electrical box.
They are in #7.
