Hello,

Need help identifying who manufactured the pictured wheel stud locking nut. Purchased a Bimmer, and No key was supplied, Now have a ruptured sidewall tire and no way to remove wheel. Can't drive to dealer, hoping someone here can identify the manufacture of the Wheel locking Nut.

Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

I deal with these wheel locks all the time at my shop. Especially that one you have. That earlier posted video will NOT work on those wheel locks.

Those have a floating steel collar around them. You will spend many fruitless hours trying to get those off and NOT damage your wheels.

The key slot (curved thingy part) is terrible and soft. They strip constantly and we remove them whenever the car comes in for work. Not only for my sake, but my customers.

BMW dealers carry the master set of each of the 45 key variants for removal of those when in the shop.
If you have the box, it has the key code on it and you can order a new key, from the dealer.
I strongly recommend that you hammer in the new key and use good pressure inwards to make sure the key does NOT rotate out when removing. Then throw those in the garbage and get a different type of wheel lock.

Take a look at Martin's video on the below page. It will show you exactly of what I'm talking about with the outer steel ring.

I have a set of those Craftsman brand from Sears. They worked on my nephew's WRX that had McGuard locks on the wheels. The problem is those sockets work best with an air impact gun, which is what they are designed for.

Not sure where the OP lives, but if available, I'd call one of the mobile tire guys who come to your home or business and replace tires. He'd surely have the correct tools to remove the wheel lock and replace the blown tire.

OP if you want to use wheel locks, BMW sells a better version that has a head that uses an internal key shape. I've used them for years and hundreds of thousands of miles on my several BMWs. The kit of 4 used to come with two keys, but now BMW only includes one key, so it is best to order 4 ea. of one of the specific part numbers and order additional keys as spares, or once the kit arrives (the box has the key code on it), get additional keys.
