I have a 2001 325i and am in search brighter low beam headlamps. People seem to think the PIAA are a waste. I found these which are supposed to BRIGHT. They are 100W bulbs....will I fry my wires?

What do u think? They claim direct replacements.........

I am only going to have my car another year or two....just looking for an inexpensive upgrade that will work, give results and be trouble free.....

I think I decided on these. THey seem the most compatible, and won't burn up my wires like the other ones probably will that run at 100W.

Hmmm

I REALLY REALLY REALLY looked into replacement halogen bulbs a few weeks ago. Everything I read said the only "premium" replacement bulbs worth buying are Philip's VisionPlus european bulbs.

But they still are not "xenon-like" enough, so I bit the bullet and bought the OEM xenon retrofit kit from Bekkers and I do not regret it at all. They look great and were easy to install. But they did cost a thousand bucks :dunno: however in my opinion they were worth it.

Do you mean me? Of the xenons? Not yet but I will in a few days.

replace with HID without projector at www.misterjung.com saw them on an M3 two words "BAD ASS"

I think HID without projectors looks bad and blinds oncoming drivers.

Anyway, here's a pic of my car with the original halogens, I'll post the HID's later tonight after my digicam batteries charge up again.

I ordered phillips vision plus halogen upgrades.....

This will do for now..i will post before and after pictures.......
