Currently my E46 M3 seats has (power/memory). I want to swap the seats with OEM seats with (power/memory/heat). Is this a direct plug and play or do I have to make other modifications to make the heated seats work in my car.

Your wiring harness plug under the seats might not have the connector for the heating element. You'll also need a switch to turn them on/off.
