Hey guys, im really confused and need some help. After some researching, I've decided to get the Panasonic CQ-DFX983U Headunit. Anyways, at the same time im going to add a Xtant 300w amp, and some JL stealthboxes. My question is this:

I know that the OEM HK system uses differential outputs, and almost all aftermarket systems use RCA. So if i replace the OEM headunit, will I still need to use a Line Out Converter when I wire up my amp, or will i be able to tap into the signal directly??

If u have just the sub amp then u use the RCA sub out from the deck itself.

Will that require running a NEW wire through the entire car from the deck to the trunk(where the amp is)?? Or will i be able to use the existing wiring(HK sub amp) and just splice?

If you use RCA then yes you will have to run the RCA cables the entire length of the car. Other wise u will have to splice the signal before it reaches the amp then feed it to a balanced diff LOC and then run the RCA to your amp.
