No. There's an amp in the left side of the trunk. Pull back the grey cover.

headunit powering speakers?
Hello all,
First I want to say I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH CAR AUDIO/ELECTRONICS.
I have a 2005 325i without navigation and without HK. I finally figured out which wire does what for the god forsaken factory amp connector:banghead:. Lets say if I want my aftermarket headunit to power the front left tweeters (I just want the headunit to power the front left tweeter and nothing else), do i just connect Pin #33 Front Left + tweeter output to Pin #38 Head unit output Front Left + and the Front Left - tweeters to Head unit output front Left -? Is it that simple? Do i need crossovers and stuff like that?
