It never has...its the hatch right below the climate control, the other hatch closes fine (with cig lighter), but the other one has NEVER closed right. Has anyone had this problem?

no. sorry man. mine always closed just like the one over the cig. lighter. have a dealer check it out. I'm sure it's probably an easy fix.

are you saying it simply won't close? Like, you attempt to close it and it just pops back up? or it will stay closed but won't lock into place?

that thing can be taken out pretty easy.. just pull on it and go to the shop and buy another one. i think it's useless to schedule an appt etc. just to have that replaced by the dealer.. unless you have other reasons you need to take it in!
