Last night a animal ran out in front of my car and i swerved to miss it because it was so close. Their were sprinklers on and my car slid and did a 180 onto some grass, later upon closer inspection their is a ton of grass stuck between my rim and tire about the width of my pinky. I looked up and havent seen anything like this, do i have to take it to a tire shop?

I never heard of it, but I think that when you did the 180 the tire dislodged off the rim for a bit and that's where the grass got in with dirt.

Is this even a question? The fact that you're loosing air pressure should be a sign to you to get it fixed.

You may have punctured the tire, it's pretty rare for tires to un-bead itself from the rim. I'm not saying impossible but really rare. For your tire to un-bead itself your sidewalls must be pretty soft and your tire really under inflated.

To make sure where the leak is actually coming from, do a test with the wheel in question with water to see where the air bubbles form.

You better go quickly. The grass wedged in there will not be able to take the high speed of your wheels spinning. It will catch fire, and your car will explode before you know it. This is a matter of life and death.

Hese not kidding. This happened to a buddy of mine. Luckily he was driving right next to a community pool so he drove into it and put the fire out.

Thanks guys i had no idea what to do. Now with your help i know that it shouldnt be fixed, i should probly just keep driving it until my car catches fire and explodes :lmao:

You swerved to save a squirrel? I know that's what it was...coz if a dog or cat...a cow, deer, or bear, we would have heard about it. That you don't want to tell us is good though.

From this, I know that you know you should've just kept going...and you should have. I'm sorry, but some things you just have to have 'programmed' in your head when driving.

I had a raccoon commit suicide by e36...cost me $600...and it would have been more if my bumpers needed paint, but they came from factory with the gray matte finish that was OE for my '92 (RIP).

Anyway, you just need to have that as an instinctive reaction...there are some things you just need to be prepared for all the time on the road...low odds things. But srs, since this was such a reactive move of yours, consider yourself lucky that you didn't slam into a tree, over ravine, tumbling end over end and bursting into flames like in the movies.

Be prepared...you just have to run over little animals...even really cute little ones.
