actually I live in Tallahassee, FL. If you are not familiar with the area, its only about 25 miles north to get into GA (actually I work there in a small town called Thomasville). I cover the south GA and Florida panhandle territory, so I roam around quite a bit in both states. As fas as saving money goes, it sucks because I pay higher property tax living in Florida and have to pay GA state income tax when Florida doesn't have one.

Oh man, I know your pain... GA has ridculous fees for tags. My plates ran me about $160, next year it will be around $70.
