I am trying to find a quality set of white LEDs for my corner lights. I have the 7507 (150 degree) sockets and not the 7506/1156 (180 degree) sockets. These Morimoto LEDs seem pretty good but are they worth $45-60? Does anyone have any suggestions for nice LEDs?

Also, the ones I linked to are 1156 so if I shaved off one of the contact points will the bulb still fit tightly and how it is supposed to?_a_

They come with resistors for no errors:
